What we are for
The main purpose of our Community Council is to find out, co-ordinate and express to the local authority i.e. Fife Council and other public authorities the views of our community, in relation to matters for which these authorities have responsibility.
Our Community Council promotes community participation and a sense of community spirit. It is also involved in safeguarding and improvement of the amenities and environment in our area.
Our Community Council is made up of 10 elected local people from both Carnock and Gowkhall villages. We also have co-opted members and one of our local Councillors, who is an ex officio member. Read more about about us.
